You Are Not Alone.

Sometimes all we need is one honest conversation.

Life can feel confusing, overwhelming, or simply too much to carry alone. Whether you're facing a difficult decision, a career crossroads, retirement, loneliness, business challenges, or simply need someone willing to listen, I'm here to offer an honest perspective drawn from real-life experience.

Why People Trust Me

Not because I have all the answers...

But because I've lived through many of life's questions.

My Journey

A timeline shaped by lessons, recovery, and quiet realizations.

Childhood

Growing up in a modest setting, learning early on the importance of quiet observation, family, and the simple power of a supportive presence.

Career

Entering the working world, learning the dynamics of organizations, management, and how individuals function under corporate pressures and deadlines.

Business

Taking risks to build and run enterprises. Experiencing the hard realities of cash flows, employees, operations, and the ultimate responsibility of leadership.

Successes

Achieving milestones, validation, and commercial goals. It brought material comfort, yet taught me that outward success alone rarely answers life's deeper search for purpose.

Failures

Navigating deep losses and business collapses. These periods of crisis tested my character, grounded my perspective, and stripped away superficial pride.

Depression

Facing a dark, silent chapter of clinical depression. Feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and completely stuck in place taught me how heavy life can get when carried alone.

Recovery

Slowly rebuilding my life with patience, compassion, and support. Learning that acknowledging vulnerability is not a defeat, but the beginning of true strength.

Retirement

Stepping back from commercial pursuits and corporate roles. Entering a season of stillness, deeper self-reflection, and appreciation for the simple moments.

New Beginning

Recognizing that my accumulated years of life and work were not meant to be stored away, but shared with those who might need a quiet sounding board.

My One Cent Worth

Creating this sanctuary. A place not for coaching or experts, but for real, honest, and completely private conversations between two human beings.

Why I Started My One Cent Worth

After six decades of life, I realised something.

People are surrounded by information, yet many still feel alone.

Some don't need another expert.

They simply need someone willing to listen.

I've experienced success. I've experienced failure. I've made mistakes. I've started over.

I've learnt that experience often teaches lessons no textbook can.

That is why I created My One Cent Worth.

Not because I know everything. But because I care enough to listen.

My Values

The foundational principles guiding every single session and relationship.

Listen First

Every conversation begins with listening.

Respect

Every person deserves dignity.

Honesty

I'll tell you what I genuinely think.

Compassion

Without judgement.

Practical Wisdom

Experience matters.

Personal Responsibility

Your decisions remain yours.

What I Am

Someone willing to listen.
Someone who shares honest perspectives.
Someone who values confidentiality.
Someone who genuinely cares.

What I Am Not

I am not a therapist. I am not a counsellor. I am not a psychologist. I am not a lawyer. I am not a financial adviser. I do not diagnose. I do not promise outcomes. I simply offer my time, my attention, my experience, and my honest perspective.

My Promise

When you speak with me...

I promise to listen carefully.
I promise to respect your privacy.
I promise to be honest.
I promise to treat your concerns seriously.
I promise to never judge you.
I promise to share my genuine perspective.

I cannot promise perfect answers.

I cannot promise perfect outcomes.

But I can promise a sincere conversation.

Real Conversations. Real Experience. Real Perspective.

This is for anyone navigating transition, facing career crossroads, adjusting to retirement, feeling lonely, struggling with business challenges, or simply carrying a heavy thought they cannot share with friends or family. It is for those who seek an experienced, completely neutral listener.
Who is this not for?
This is not for individuals seeking clinical therapy, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, or formal financial advising. I do not diagnose or offer professional clinical services. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis, please contact professional emergency medical services.
Why should I talk to you?
Because I have lived through decades of diverse life events—success, failure, corporate pressure, entrepreneurial stress, depression, recovery, and retirement. I have no agenda, no pre-packaged framework to sell you, and no judgment. I offer you my full, unhurried attention.
What happens during a conversation?
We sit down together in a comfortable, unhurried virtual space. You tell me what has been on your mind. I listen. I might ask questions to help you clarify your thoughts, and when appropriate, I will share my honest, lived perspectives to help you see things from a different angle.
Is everything confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is the core foundation of our trust. Everything shared remains entirely between us. No records, notes, or details are ever disclosed or shared with any third party.
